Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and your rights. It covers this website only — the ScrollCure Android app is covered by a separate policy.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this site is:
Stefan Becker, Meerfeldstraße 21, 68163 Mannheim, Germany. Email: veil.ai.extension@gmail.com. See our Impressum for full details.
2. Hosting
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit, Vercel automatically processes technical data required to deliver the site (e.g. IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp) in server logs. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, reliable delivery). Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
3. Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (page views, referrers, rough scroll depth, and clicks on our call-to-action). It is cookieless and does not build cross-site profiles or identify you personally. Because no cookies or similar tracking technologies are used, no consent banner is required. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the site).
4. Waitlist emails
If you enter your email address in our waitlist form, we store it for the sole purpose of sending you one notification when ScrollCure launches (and, if you opted in, occasional related updates).
- Data: your email address, and the date/consent of your signup.
- Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with no effect on prior processing.
- Processor: our email is handled by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard de Sébastopol, 75002 Paris, France) as a processor under a data processing agreement.
- Retention: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or at the latest a reasonable period after launch.
- Unsubscribe: via the link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
5. No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or rent your data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17);
- restrict or object to processing (Art. 18, 21);
- data portability (Art. 20);
- withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3));
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77) — e.g. your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email veil.ai.extension@gmail.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example, when the app launches). The current version is always available on this page.
